“Empowering Lives: Inuka Rehabilitation Hospital Unveils New Buildings”

RT. Rev. Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Njombe, Eusebio Kyando, has blessed and inaugurated four new buildings at Inuka Rehabilitation Hospital. These structures were constructed through funding from Hope for Tanzania, an institution based in America.
Speaking during the ceremony on July 18, 2024, which commenced with a Holy Mass followed by the inauguration and blessing of the new buildings, Bishop Kyando expressed gratitude to Hope for Tanzania for their instrumental role in completing these crucial projects since the facilities are intended to serve people with disabilities from Njombe region, neighboring regions in the Southern Highlands, and all Tanzanians.
Bishop Kyando also commended the dedicated staff of Inuka Rehabilitation Hospital for their commitment in achieving the goal of empowering individuals. He encouraged them to continue caring for the medical equipment and the new buildings to facilitate the long-term delivery of quality services.
Furthermore, Bishop Kyando invited all Tanzanians to utilize the services offered at Inuka Rehabilitation Hospital, emphasizing that it provides care to everyone regardless of their religious beliefs, political affiliations, or other backgrounds. The hospital’s mission is to empower individuals with disability to self-sufficiency in their daily activities.
On another note, Hon Philemon Luhanjo, Chairman of the Board of Directors, expressed his joy of seeing the dream of serving many people with disability from Tanzania come to fruition. He praised organizations like Hope for Tanzania for their goodwill and urged hospital staff to continue their dedicated efforts in uplifting more people with disabilities.
“while Celebrating the launch of the operating building and its wards, chapel, and doctor’s apartments buildings at the Inuka Rehabilitation Hospital, we recognize that these structures and their equipment are not just walls and bricks, but instruments of hope, encouragement, and upliftment for people with disabilities across the country” said Luhanjo.
The inaugurated buildings includes an Operating room and its wards, Rehabilitation services building, Doctor’s apartments, and the chapel, all of which were constructed under the support of Hope for Tanzania.
