THE SUCCESS STORY OF LIVINUS NYINGU

“Journey of Hope and Healing”

Livinus Nyigu is a four-year-old boy from Limage village in Njombe, born as one of a set of twins. He was born with congenital rickets, causing severe foot deformities that made walking nearly impossible. While his twin brother Livino was healthy, Livinus faced a tough start to life.

As he grew, his legs became increasingly twisted, making it difficult for him to walk. His mother tirelessly sought treatment at various hospitals, but there was no improvement until she was referred to Inuka Rehabilitation Hospital in September 2023. Initially full of doubt, she gained strength and hope after seeing other children’s are improving.

Thanks to consistent care, By 2024 Livinus was able to walk independently by age three.

His mother now encourages other parents not to give up. “Seeing my son walk freely is the greatest gift,” she says. “With the right care and persistence, even serious conditions can be overcome.”

At Inuka, we are proud to walk alongside children like Livinus on their journey to healing, offering hope, care, and a brighter future.
